Cornhole Boards
Construction Details
MN Tailgate boards are built to American Cornhole League (ACL) specifications. Everything is built with 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood (13-ply) and CNC cut for the highest quality. We use pocket hole construction (with the Kreg jig) along with wood glue so there are no visible screws. The holes are a perfect 6” circle and all edges/corners are rounded including radius corners on the tops. We also use a cross-brace between the legs for added stability and underneath the board (qty 2) to eliminate bounce. These sets are furniture grade quality. All finished board sets include a fleece blanket to protect your boards during transport and storage. Pictures above show the construction of board sets in the regulation size (24"x48").

The most basic boards that MN Tailgate has to offer are bare wood boards. These are just that – sanded bare wood. We can customize boards to any design/theme.
Size Options
MN Tailgate builds boards in three sizes. The regulation size (24"x48") gets its name as they are the dimensions for the official ACL regulations. This is the most common size sold and will be found at tournaments and leagues.
MN Tailgate offers two smaller size boards for kids, indoors or for smaller spaces. The junior size (16"x32") is two-thirds the dimensions of the regulation size but still uses the same 6" hole so the same bags can be used on these sets. The mini size (12"x24") is one-half the dimensions of the regulation size but uses a 4" hole so smaller bags are needed on these sets.
Graphic Options
MN Tailgate uses "direct print" technology to get the best quality boards/graphics for sets that use logos/graphics. This is where the plywood top is printed with the graphics on a large flatbed UV printer. This means that anything can be put on the boards!
Finish Details
MN Tailgate boards can be finished with Poly clear coat. This is applied to the tops of the boards only (the playing surface). This is recommended on all sets to protect your boards and to provide optimum slide (unless you want to paint/finish the boards yourself).
Pricing
The cost of a finished (w/Poly) board set ranges from $250 to $350. Bags can be added-on for a discount. In addition, a free drawstring bag to carry your bags will be provided with the purchase of boards and bags together.
